CURRENT PROJECTS
Jonah is currently working on albums with Pseutopia (featuring Dave Abbruzzese of Pearl Jam) and veteran rock 'n blues artist Pete Cowley, as well as singles and EPs from various artists. Jonah’s band VanGoGo is also in the studio working on their sophomore album.
Jonah is also working on several non-music projects as well including 4 popular podcasts - Business Beyond Usual, Working For The Weekend, Business and Society, and LA Venture.
Jonah is currently working on his 3rd album collaboration with Echo Records recording artist Ali Ashraf. Ali’s first album Paheli blended traditional Urdu sounds and lyrics with a modern AAA and alt-rock sound. In 2018, Ashraf released a more aggressive and rockin’ EP featuring the controversial Ik Wari Hor, a song Ashraf had been more than once pulled off the stage for performing. The latest collaboration returns to some of the traditional elements of Paheli while exploring the more Western sounds of British and American classic rock.

"Roshan Pakistan"
Single for the Emirates Polio Campaign
This was a special project for the Emirates Polio Campaign, a UAE PAP program committed to ending polio among the world’s poorest and most vulnerable communities. The song Roshan Pakistan was written by Ali Ashraf and performed by Pakistani pop star Nehaal Naseem. The song and accompanying music video (also written and directed by Ashraf) has been instrumental in helping the UAE PAP achieve their goals.

Jonah produced Bella Musser's (lead singer of Redamancy) solo single One Kiss More and the songs was a Valentine's Day Spotify playlist hit!
ELYSE MILLER - QUICKSAND - SINGLE (Alt Folk + Singer/Songwriter)
Jonah produced Elyse Miller's single Quicksand - a haunting alt-folk song released in 2018. Jonah and Elyse are currently working on Elyse’s debut full-length album.
MICHELLE RODERICK - DON’T GO TONIGHT - SINGLE (AAA + Singer/Songwriter)
In 2018, Jonah produced Michelle Roderick’s single Don’t Go Tonight and they went on to work on Roderick’s upcoming EP, Mama Bird.
MIKHAIL MARTYNOV - EP (Art Rock)
From 2013 - 2016, Jonah helped Russian veteran rocker Mikhail Martynov re-work some of his classics as well as record 2 new songs. The project included guest vocals by Lydia Salnikova - lead singer and keyboard player for the Grammy-nominated band Bering Strait.
NICK ANDERSON - STEP OUT OF THE SHADOWS - SINGLE (Alt. Hard Rock)
Debut single from Nick Anderson. Jonah and Nick are currently working together on a full album.

In 2017, Jonah tried out as a producer for ItyDity - a ground-breaking producer-matching service. After winning several of the first producer contests, Jonah got to know the company’s founder Emily Satterlee. The two shared a lot in common but they really united behind their goal of empowering young artists with a safe and artist-centric production environment. Satterlee soon asked Jonah to join her as co-founder of ItyDity and since then they have worked hard to build the company into what it is today: the only music platform that lets singer-songwriters identify an ideal music producer to make professional recordings of their songs.

In 2008, as Jonah was just leaving his record deal with November 8 Records, he joined the regionally successful but short-lived band Van GoGo as a drummer - just for fun. The timing wasn’t right as all 4 members were burnt out from the industry and life on the road with previous projects. The band recorded 4 songs with producer/engineer Chuck Alkazian but the project was shelved.
12 years later, on a whim, VanGoGo guitarist Jason Schaller released one of the unfinished songs to Spotify and it took off. Inspired, the 4 original members decided to go back into the legendary Pearl Sound Studios in Detroit to finish what they started.
Their self-titled album has so far received 4+ million streams and the band is currently recording a sophomore album. In late '22, they released “Get Up To You” which has received mainstream radio play and the band has been performing limited shows around the country including the 2022 Blue Ridge Rock Festival in Virginia.
